EmpowerMentors is a company that focus on the whole student - not just tutoring. As a result, we offer mentorships along with tutoring services.

There are several benefits of one-on-one mentorship between an adult and a student. Our current or retired teachers offer guidance and support and your student navigates through any challenges they may face academically, socially, or personally. Our mentors can offer advice, share experiences, and provide a listening ear, which has proven to be quite valuable during adolescence.  Overall, a mentor can serve as a trusted advisor, role model, and advocate for a high school student, providing them with guidance, support, and opportunities that can positively impact their personal and academic growth. 

Mentorship is a give and take relationship between the mentor and the mentee so the actual role may change often. Some services our mentors have helped students with are goal setting and planning, academic assistance, networking and connections, personal development, and college/career guidance. Combined, our mentors and tutors have decades of experience leading students as they walk the journey of adolescence.
